We have a relatively small IT team that supports a large number of users, so we jump in and help each other when needed. You will be expected to do the same. You will be given a lot of freedom to do your job, and you will also have a lot of responsibility to get the work done on time and within budget. You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service to our end users.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Respond to help desk tickets entered through the companies' ticketing system
  • Install (adds, moves, changes), maintain and configure end-user hardware and software, including PCs, printers, networked copiers and scanners
  • Imaging of PCs
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose PC hardware and software problems
  • Support users accessing Citrix hosted desktops and resources
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to end-user requests
  • Provide remote phone, desktop, and written support to end-users
  • Assist in or perform job site computing, internet, telecommunications, wireless and A/V set ups, as needed.
  • Transport I.T. equipment and supplies to and from company locations, as needed
  • Assist in the support of the company's mobile devices

Requirements include technical degree in computer systems, with 1 to 2 years' experience in the information systems field preferred. Other requirements include:

  • Strong Customer Service Orientation.
  • Considerable knowledge of Windows 10 desktop operating system including operation and troubleshooting
  • Proficient with MS Office products
  • MacOS knowledge a plus
  • Advanced application and hardware troubleshooting and problem resolution experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both a technical & non-technical environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong detail orientation, follow-through capabilities and escalation of key issues
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to manage multiple issues at one time
  • Ability to follow documented operational procedures and independently organize, prioritize and follow-up on tasks in a high pressure environment
  • Work effectively in a dynamic environment where shifting priorities frequently alters work plans
  • Highly Self-motivated and directed with a desire to learn
