Trumbull Corporation has an immediate opening for a Equipment Administrator at its West Mifflin shop location. PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Manage and provide direct administrative tasks to support the shop/equipment division.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  1. Coordinate and supervise clerical/secretarial support function for shop division.
  2. Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, procedures, etc., as required.
  3. Act as liaison between shop and company, such as other departments, external contacts, clients, etc. such liaison may be required to arrange meetings, clarify and resolve problems, coordinate work, maintain working relationship and public relations, etc.
  4. Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., expense reports, supply requisitions, personnel transaction forms, operating budgets, etc.) per supervisor's authorization.
  5. Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analysis, brochures, etc. per supervisor's request. Such items would usually require research, development and/or interpretation of data and be performed with little supervision or instruction.
  6. Maintain all corporate equipment files including inventory, repair and maintenance, etc.
  7. Payroll duties will include coordinating with Foreman and the payroll department by collecting timesheets and verifying cost codes.
  8. Maintain and track CDL logs, safety inspection logs, and equipment logs.
  9. Assist employees with time off requests, address changes, tax form and direct deposit form updates.
  10. Keep employee bulletins boards up to date.
  11. May interpret and administer a company policy, program or procedure requiring independent decision making.
  12. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years administrative experience or equivalent combinations training and related experience. Working knowledge of general office procedures plus ability to organize and coordinate group work efforts required. Strong communication (both verbal and written), strong organizational skills, ability to interface and communicate with others, and excellent technical knowledge required. A practical knowledge of the function of construction equipment a plus.

COMMENTS:

Professional level position. Incumbent receives minimal guidance and supervision. Exempt under FLSA.
